Living Outside the Camp

Alan Parfitt looks at Hebrews 13:11-14 at NCMI Equip Gauteng 2017 – Thursday morning (Session 1)

“For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.”

  1. Hi,

Willows creek just announced they will have to leading pastors. One to teach and be with people and one to run the business of the church.

Given they have 25k people through their doors on a Sunday and have 400 staff and a USD 77 million annual budget, it’s an interesting position on how to do church differently.

It made me think about what Alan said about living outside the camp and allowing the life if God to flow. Food for thought.
