As Christian leaders there will be many common obstacles and experiences we will all face, even if the context changes. The scriptures encourage us to go from being “children” to “young men” and then to “fathers” (1 John 2). The question is: how?
Martin has worked hard for many years as a leader in the church, particularly in the Baptist fold. He has been on the pastorate at many churches, served at the Baptist Theological College (BTC) for 20 years (14 of those years as its principal) and has also been the Professor of Theology at North West University. But his passion is pastoring (he is currently pastoring Lyndhurst Baptist Church). He has a fantastic ability to take the scriptures and solid theology and bring it together with hands-on, practicable church leadership.
